We refinanced our original Flagstar mortgage with them again. About 60 days later, we recieved a notice from out homeowners insurance company that our premium hadn't been paid and would be cancelled in 30 days. We called Flagstar, not only were they unable to tell us...

Flagstar Bank in Flushing, Michigan - Contractors don't work for Flagstar, dishonest

Nancy Mead of Flagstar bank gave us the ok to fix plumbing leaks at an address in Freeland, MI. After the work was completed we were then told there was a $500.00 maximum they could pay. I talked to a Angel Hall also before the work was done, neither of them mentioned a $500.00 maximum. The house had numerous problems due to frozen piping all over the house, with a tight crawl and attic work. If they had told us there was a $500.00 maximum we would have walked away from the job. We haven't seen the $500.00 yet either. They just keep giving us the run around, don't work for them.

I have a Flagstar Bank Mortgage and it seems to me the bank is taking a lot longer to modify our loan for us due to a cut in pay, but thaey are working with us to keep our home. Please all be patient ; there are so many of us out here who want the help now but it is impossible for them to review paperwork of thousands of people at one time. I have been pleased with Flagstar Bank since day one and trully hope we can all be patient with this bank whom gave everyone out there a chance so PLEASE BE PATIENT and have faith in the ones who had faith in YOU!!!!!!!

Flagstar Bank in Livingston, New Jersey - Told we quilify for government approved interest decrease, then renigged!

I filled a four page questionnaire to see if we could lower our current interest rate of 7.75%. I was contacted by a flagstar rep that said we were approved for a new 4.9% rate with no closing cost. I would also like to mention that in the three years that we have owned our home we have NEVER missed a payment! We were thrilled to be saving the much needed income. However, just a week later we were informed with out explanation that flag star could not help us after all??? What could we do? No one is offering loans right now, especially since I have gone back to school and we are a single income family of four. Thanks for nothing flag star.

Did you think you were going to get a square deal from "flagSHAFT bank" also known as flagstar bank, this i know because i have read from other blogs on this site, there are thousands and thousands of unhappy customers that get screwed from this class act of a so called bank! Note there are a couple of nuts that don't make sence, but the rest of the good customer's never get a Sqare deal. They still don't get it, how many new customer's they loose by word of mouth.

We have been at Flagstar for over 2 years now and were also told we qualified for a lower interest rate and after waiting 6 weeks got the new everything was great and we set up the closing date within 3 days.

The day we were to close I received a call stating I would need to bring an additional $2000.00 dollars and that my payment had only decreased by $86.00 a month.

Nothing at were in the orginial paperwork signed and returned. They are out to get whatever they can - however they can.

Flagstar Bank in Columbia, South Carolina - Trying to get a satisfaction is like pulling teeth

I will NEVER use Flagstar for a mortgage again. I had a home equity line of credit with them which they have refused to subordinate their lien for, so that I could refinance my first mortgage into a much lower rate. I requested they pay it off and it has been over 30 days and I have yet to receive notification that the mortgage is satisfied, so I am still paying the higher rate on my first and having to extend the lock for my new loan. It is absurd. It does not take that long. I know; I work in a bank.

Don't even bother to call it will take weeks to months maybe some one might return your call but don't hold your breath no one helps, there only concern is to get customers that are 90 days late paying again, that is why they help with the first part of the Obama package NO OTHER REASON, so if you are having tuff times with cut saleries or on disabiliy from an accident, THEY WILL NOT HELP!!! there still getting there HIGHER INTEREST, and they Know your stuck so then they use there stall tactics telling you you don't qualify because you don't EARN enough to pay a lower INTEREST RATE you have to look at this and say what a load of ***, they got you by your jewel's and they know it and they will not let you go! Then they say well refinance & charge you refinance fee's all over again CO$TING you thousands of dollars more, they also know you don't qualify because of the cut in pay your suffering from, But they will never help you with the second part of the Obamas package customers that are still paying on time and get a better INTEREST rate, forget that they will just be rude over the phone and treat you like ***, THEY WILL NOT HELP, FORGET IT!!

Jannet Superviser of loss mitigation dept. Tel.

800-945-7700 Ext # 6624 is the rudest most unkind person I have ever talked with it takes weeks for her to get back to you for the smallest task example just to ask for a loan modificatoin that she tells you that you do not qualify even without having your financail application, her reply is they only take care of customers that are 90 days late or more, she stays firm no one else qualifys, then she hangs up on you? How can anyone be so cold.

Flagstar Bank in Seattle, Washington - Flagstar should not be allowed to function as a lender!

No one cares about your issue. No one returns calls-even managers let voice mail take calls for over two months and still no return phone calls. They let your account go late and when you try to ask them what is going on they say they don't care! Unbelievable! If they tell you they have a repayment plan worked out-don't believe it! They are not capable of even the smallest amount of integrity in their dealings. We are in the process of getting rid of them right now and we will never go w/Flagstar again! They need to be shutdown immediately!!

Chisty, customers have stick together in numbers, fact in case one person affects at least #400 hundred future Customers by word of mouth, you know how this works one person tells another person so on so on! And now that we have the internet much more!!

There are Going to be Disgruntled Loan Officers being Fired or Resigning saving face from being Fired lets wait for there Stories, you are right about one thing, Customer Service and Loan Officers are terrible they tell you to hold on and pass the Call on to some one else, and sak you what your problem is with NO-RESULTS what a way to Run A Bank! I am a customer of "flagSHAFTbank" and very unhappy with not ever getting results, or Customer Service taking my side and saying YOUR RIGHT, what would be the Big Deal & the going the Extra Mile for you! They would make a Happy Customer and Win # 400 Customers instead of loosing them? They spend thousands of dollars to get new Customers threw Advertising and then loose them by treating them unkindly, that means hidden fees & other Practices that raise up your mortgage a little here and a little there!

There will be a "flagSHAFTbank" Loan Officer posing as a Happy "flagSHAFTbank" Customer but this will be far from the truth, They will comment that "flagSHAFTbank" is the Greatest thing that has come along the Pike since "POP CORN" or they will say terrible things about there Customers on this site on how they do not pay on time or they don't have enough money in there bank account to cover mortgage, THAT IS BULL!

because i always pay by the first & never bounced a check but if you read all the posts out there, IT'S THE CUSTOMERS FAULT, NEVER "flagSHAFTSbank"! What Bull!

Flagstar Bank

They pass your call around and one call takes more than 30 minutes only to leave you with the problem unaddressed. Flagstar miscalculated my taxes and after a year later raised my payment $450/month and the only thing they said was I should default on the mortgage. I am in if there is a class action suit. This is the worst complany I have ever dealt with in all those that have held my mortgages. Messages are left unreturned for weeks at at time even if the message is left for the supervisor and thier complaint options are useless.

We need more Customers to stick together and get law suits against there Loan offices, the only way to do this is call the Attorney General office and complain, also write down tellephone numbers & names, if you don't do this they will get away with this stuff and make a jokes about this. This is a real *** of a Bank!
