Flagstar repeatedly lost track of our documentation, needed our broker's loan processor to explain how to read bank statements, and had difficulty even making simple phone calls to verify employment. They left so much to the last minute that they delayed our closing.

Then they failed to provide escrow with all of our documents, after we had negotiated an extension with the seller, set our signing appointment with escrow, and worked with them to get a same-day closing. They decided that two more people needed to review the HUD before they sent it out but those people had already gone home so they left it sitting until the next day.

This resulted in frantic phone calls, cancellation of our signing, another delay in closing, the loss of two moving days, the need to reschedule movers, and the need to negotiate another extension with the seller. Absolutely unacceptable.
