I have asked for several years for help with my mortgage. When everything was said and DONE..

I ENDED UP LOSING MY HOUSE BECAUSE WITH A LOAN MODIFICATION THEY ONLY LOWER YOUR PAYMENT BUT IN THE END YOU ARE REALLY BEHIND THOSE MONTHS YOUR IN THE MODIFICATION.. After sending in MOUNTS of paperwork AFTER the loan modification time was expired.. OH I'M SORRY YOU DON'T MAKE ENOUGH MONEY.. WTF?

How can I make the same money as the last 10 months and now I DON'T MAKE ENOUGH? DON'T take the modification.. They NEVER communicated with each other and you will BE SCREWED IF YOU TAKE THE MODIFICATION..

JUST AN FYI...

Sorry if this isnt the right place to post my comment.Don't usually comment on things but when we were going through foreclosure with Flagstar, I always went to this site to see what everyone else was going through which was helpful to me.

I just wanted to post this if it can help someone. We were disapproved for loan modifications several times over the years, going through foreclosure process, acquiring a foreclosure attorney, we requested mediation with Maryland Circuit Court. A week before we are scheduled for mediation, we are notified that we are approved for a Flagstar Bank "internal" loan modification. Our monthly payment was $3075 but we went on 3 months trial loan modfication for $1824 and are finally approved for a permanent loan mod for 4% and 40 yrs.

We were sent documents to sign and have notarized and had to send in a certifed check for the next month's payment but was told after the permanent loan modification gets finalized we can begin sending our payment with coupon. We just returned the loan mod documents to Flagstar so right now just hoping that all goes well with that. I pray that all of you going through the same thing gets resolved. This whole ordeal is very stressful for me and my family and I finally just lifted it up to the Lord that he would see us through this if we could keep our house or we would lose it.

Whatever happened we would still be ok even if we had to rent an apartment or something.
